Mauna Bluff Paradise Beach Mykonos Greece

nightlife

Overlooking the cobalt blue Mediterranean on one of the island's highest peaks, it could easily be a luxurious resort if it were not for the pounding-thump of bass music and all-night parties that have made the club an island-institution since 1993. Located on a rocky-bluff overlooking Paradise Beach, the sprawling mega-club features an oversize swimming pool surrounded by dance cabanas and super-disco (Mykonos loves the word super) that lures energetic celebrities and some of the biggest names in world nightlife. DJs like Danny Rampling, Pete Tong and Alex Neri spin world-trance and Euro-minded techno to throngs of tanned and shirtless (yes, men and women) partiers who plan their days and nights around the club. The doors don't even open till 2am, pulling in the heaviest crowds around 4am to take in the final hours of dancing in darkness. By morning the party overflows into the pool and on the beach, for hygienic reasons we opted for the latter, as drunken-guests slowly-make their way back to hotels and mega-yachts.

Tips

Have your concierge or a determined friend get you a VIP pass, you won’t want to hang-out in the regular part of the club, reserve a private car - and party like a rockstar till 9am.

Last Word

As hard as it may be, don’t arrive to the club before 3am unless you want to sit drinking malt-beverages with the numerous Euro-campers that frequent the club prior to 3am.
